Paper Airplane Project

The students begin by exploring how people have made effective paper airplanes. The assignment is to create a paper airplane within the given dimensional limits that can travel the greatest distance possible across the room after released by hand. Observations must be made of tested paper airplanes. Students must arrive at conclusions of predicted performance based on the collected data. Students will make corrections and adjustments to airplane design based on tests to increase performance.
